What is RICO?

Rico is a platform that helps you choose where to eat, what plan to go on and what to order.

Through the reviews of the RICO FRIENDS - gastronomic experts and professional foodies - we make sure you find the perfect restaurant for your next outing.

For a restaurant to be part of RICO, it must meet one (or both) of the following criteria.

1. Chef forward. The chef is present in the restaurant, with a relevant and distinctive proposal. He is directly responsible for the contact with producers and suppliers and ensures that they have responsible practices.

2. Historic. The relevance of this type of restaurants lies in their history, in addition to their food. They are backed by the number of years they have been operating and the role they play in the community.

RICO FRIENDS are people from different industries (gastronomy, journalism, art, finance), who are always interested in new openings, but also know the classic corners of each neighborhood. They are those FRIENDS you always ask to recommend a restaurant, and you blindly trust their advice.

What is NOT RICO?

RICO is not a restaurant guide, you will not find all the restaurants, only those that meet the RICO criteria.
No restaurant pays to appear in RICO.
RICO is neither a list nor an award. We are a platform that collects expert opinions.
