Going here is like feeling a little bit in France, because of the decoration, but also because of the cuisine that summarizes well the most typical dishes from there. Don't skip the entrance and order the snails with wine. If you are a fan of French indie music, you will love the atmosphere.

Cozy French bistro located tucked away in a quiet spot in Polanco. Good wine list, the steak frites are great, and the sole is perfect enjoyed solo or a light meal for two. Perfect for a date night or for a family meal to impress your in-laws. For a true Parisian moment, end your meal with the profiteroles and ogles as the melted chocolate is drizzled onto the fluffy pate a choux.

Cozy French bistro in Polanco. Order the black pepper beef steak with french fries and the pissaladière starter with onion, anchovy, olive and arugula.

Check it out! It is very tasty, I love the classic French salads, with blue cheese, pears and endives, the magret de canard à l'orange also very well executed and finish with a crème brûlée, obviously. Their terrace is also a mega plus in Polanco, I like it a lot.

I think I've already said that Polanco is not my thing, but this is one of the few places in the area that I do go to. If you frequent Roma, you are sure to meet many friends at St. Jacques. The place is perfect if you want to spend an evening with friends and also perfect for business meetings. You must order the escargots, the beef tartare and the entrecote.
