Our reviews
Breakfast restaurant that still maintains its original spirit despite having become popular. I always order the pork in green sauce

When there is insomnia or you are coming back from a long trip, there is no better place to have breakfast.

Be careful: the lines get long at Fonda Margarita, but the good news that not many people know is that their delivery arrives very well served, with an important dose of tortillas and the right packaging. Great option.

If I lived in the Del Valle neighborhood, I would have breakfast here once a week. Supposedly, this place was born when this area of the city was undergoing urban development and the fonda was created to feed the bricklayers who worked on the construction sites. It is still open in the mornings and to find everything you have to get up early. The scrambled eggs with beans and the chicharrón in green sauce are worth the wait. It is ideal to take a visitor to the city who lands on a very early flight.

I dream of beans with eggs and chicharrón in green sauce. I go just for that.

I have it dangerously close to home. The lines are long, but they are pleasant because the lady selling campechanas outside gives away a taste. Once inside, the tables are shared and the food is enjoyed hot, straight from the clay pots. Among my favorite stews are tortas de carne en salsa verde, chicarrón en salsa verde and bistec en pasilla. The dishes are plentiful and served with lots of tortillas. If you arrive at 10 am you are already late, you have to be there early.
