This place is pop! I like its aesthetics, being at the bar and having a glass of wine while I wait for my food: chef Edo does it very well. I order the shishitos with carrot and ginger dip or the soft crab sando. The ramen beats everything, though. My heart is between the buttered clam (100 out of 100 broth) and the Xi'an style birria ramen: they are my 2 personalities.

In the absence of quality ramen in the city, these noodles are a real treat. The place is casual and colorful, and a bit warm. And yes, you have to consider the appetizers, because they are as good as the main courses. The Xi'an-style birria: another level.

Just thinking about this place makes my mouth water. It always happens to me that I ask for everything and I end up stuffed. The menu, like Edo the chef, is very whimsical. So my advice is to get a big group and order a little bit of everything. But... the birria noodles are the absolute winners for me.

The crab sandwich is my perdition, and making my own tuna taquitos. Always a good selection of wines.

I love to sit at the terrazzo bar to savor one of their noodle bowls, I prefer it at lunchtime. The cucumber salad with peanuts, shrimp taco, the lamb obi udon and a beer.

Every meal at Fideo Gordo should start with the shiso leaf sushi taquitos. Indispensable for snacking before ordering the noodles.

Among the explosion of places to eat noodles in the CDMX, this is one has a twist, with dishes that have a sweet tooth: gyozas, cucumber salad, and the noodles that have birria in them.

Edo understands Asian noodle munchies very well. There is no other place like this in CDMX. The sushi tacos, the shrimp taco, the udon with tempura and, for the hangover, the udon with barbecue.
