How to get there?

Our reviews
Their scrambled eggs with zucchini, goat cheese and mint are the best way to start the day.

Their breakfasts are famous but I have always felt that this place is even betterat night, for a leisurely dinner with a small group. It can be uncomfortable for more than four people. Start with a martini or a glass of sparkling wine (they have a Mexican label from San Luis Potosi and a prosseco at a very good price). And then have some squash blossoms with ricotta, lamb and yogurt kebab, papardelle with ragu, gorgonzola and walnut bread (for dessert).

The sure thing: pappardelle.
What's different: the salads.
🐽: kebab.

When I visit Lardo, I love to sit at the bar so I can check out what they're doing in the kitchen. Although their menu changes, the lamb kebab is my favorite.

Always at the bar. For breakfast, lunch or dinner.

For breakfast, lunch or dinner. I like everything here: the ambiance, the open windows or the bar. And the food, of course: the eggplant parmigiana, the pizzetas that never fail, the arugula salad with artichoke and the fried rice with seafood.

The huitlacoche pizza is a must-get. If you're up for it, order bread with their speciality butter.

If you go for breakfast you will probably wait a while. I recommend going for dinner, the place gets nicer by candlelight. Pasta, salads and meatless food, always with great seasoning. Tip: if you just want bread to go, they have almost the same here as Rosetta Bakery, but you won't wait in line.
